Why screen shows "Contact Service"?

Next time that happens try pulling the battery and sim card out.
Wait about 5 minutes .
Put them back in.
Then turn you phone back on.

Hi i m facing the same problem. Now that my phone is switchingon i cant reboot the phone or update my software. please guide how can i update the software even while the phone is switched off

Hello everyone i am using a nokia 7210 supernova. My phone was so fine until now,i posted this thread.. Now its just showing contact service. It really is so exasperrating,cos i can't fix the problem and nokia care sounds like a sheer waste of time and money as i have my bitter experiences. Please help this lady on this error guys...

Why show contact service

Check you operator and try to restore factory settings if it allows you to go to hat menu option

Contact service may be hardware problem. But sometimes contact service can be solve by reloading/updating its firmware.
