Hey, I am a proud owner of the new Nokia 6265i from Telus. I was just wondering if anyone has figured out how to set their mp3's as ringtones. And a side note, what are the key activations for?

Go where the Mp3 file is on your phone. I think with the recent nokias its under the gallery. Highlight the song you want, click options, then set as ring tone.

Now my sd card isn't reading in my phone, all it says in my phone is that its unformatted, and ive formatted it 3 times on my computer. I think i will need to get a kingston sd card, because i bought a cheap 1gb for $45 called kingmax, but thanks i will get back to you when i have tried it.
Thanks again.

■ Gallery options
In the standby mode, select Menu > Gallery > Options and one of the following:
Set password—Create a password (1–8 characters) for the miniSD card, to protect
it against unauthorized use. This option is available only for the miniSD card folder.
Change password—Change the miniSD card password that you have created. This
option is available only for the miniSD card folder and if you have created a password.
Delete password—Delete the miniSD card password that you have created.
This option is available only for the miniSD card folder.
Rename memory card—Enter a name for the miniSD card. This option is available
only for the miniSD card folder.
Format memory card—Delete all files and folders stored on the miniSD card.
This option is available only for the miniSD card folder.
I got this off of the Nokia wesbite, its the manual for your phone. Does that help?

Re: Nokia 6265i From Telus *ringtone help*
Yea i tried that but it does not give you the option of setting a password for the memory card cause it doesnt show it in the gallery, and there are no general gallery options.
Thank you for your help though its much appreciated. And if you find out something new just let me know. I'm in no rush at this time to really go and get another memory card, i'll try and battle this one to get it to work. Again thanks for the help.
