W300i help

Hi , im looking forward to buying a new W300i, but i dont know if the camera is 1.3MP or only VGA , ive been looking round and some sites say it has a VGA camera and some say it has a 1.3MP camera , even the sonyericsson site says it has VGA , can someone help me out?? // Sorry i put it under Nokia

and this is what I found on the W300i camera:
Specs- 0.3 MP / 640 x 480 px / 4X Zoom / Video Recorder
Functions- Built-in VGA camera with 4x digital zoom and video recording and playback capabilities

really , cause on another site i found this
VGA, 640x480 pixels (interpolated to 1.3 MP), video(QCIF)
and idea of what this means?

The camera is actually VGA (640x480) but the pic size is optimized and increased to make it like a 1.3 Megapixel picture.
