    Re: Nokia 6255i Help

Have you considered using Bluetooth to transfer the information instead? The phone already supports it so all you'd need is Bluetooth support on your PC. You can pick up a Belkin usb Bluetooth device (the BELKIN F8T003 for example) for under $20. Then you can re-use the device for other things. It's a much better deal than buying a specialized cable that you can't use for anything else. Just make sure you have XP SP2 on the machine and don't waste your time with a knock off brand Bluetooth device, the Belkin one is pretty well supported by the OS. Also, don't load the manufacturers Bluetooth software or your client software might have trouble communicating with your phone.

    Hope this helps,
    Patrick

BTW is anyone else experiencing the power off problem?

My phone seems to power off and on for no apparent reason. It will do this 2 minutes into a phone call for example. I have been working with metropcs in San Ramon to fix this problem but we don't seem to be making any progress. I have been back several times and tried at least 3 different phones and at least two different batteries and still have the problem. The phone is currently running firmware version "V N100V2300.nep".
