If you connect your phone in "PC Suite" mode (S60) you can access to your messages and copy them to your PC (SMS can't be copied)

Thanks! That's exactly why I want to find out if there is someway that I can transfer my SMS from my phone to my laptop.

But how? the option given is transfer of messaeges but what happens is it only creates a back-up file that i can't view anyway. I want to be able to save my SMS in text form.

That's the only option I know (if you can view your SMS only in a cellphone is more secure

)

Maybe not, 6630 is Symbian 8.0 end previous app is designed for Symbian 9.1 and 9.2 phones...
