I recently go a Nokia 6261 phone and was trying to buy a ringtone when I found the message along the lines of "packet data error". I went to Nokia's site, did the basic setup and did "get standard settings". I got the little message sent to my phone, and entered the correct pin number when prompted and applied the settings. But, when I go to do anything (GPRS?) like try to buy a ring tone I get the following message:"subscribe to packet data first". It was my understanding I already did this? Can anyone please help me wqith this?????
Thanks a ton.

Re: Can't connect to anything (packet data error)
Go to main menu, tools, settings, connection, packet data and input proper Access point name. Ask your network operator about the Accss Point name. This method should work in your case.
