out of memory error

When i go to play brick breaker on my Nokia 5300, the initial graphics and menu loads up fine initially...but just as the game begins to load to actually begin playing i repeatedly get an 'application error' message which reads: "Out of Memory Error java/lang/outofmemoryerror".

Can anyone tell me what this means in laymans terms? Is there anything i can do to get this game to run correctly?

what applications do you have open? hold the "menu" key and you can close some apps by pressing "clear" or the C key. If that doesn't help then you might have the wrong version for your phone. Try downloading again.

What Symbain does this phone have? Try rebooting it too

Nokia 5300 is not a smart phone.
only 5 MB internal memory, you JAVA games is too large, that take much internal memory. System needs minimal memory to keep your cell works well.

i have nokia 5610 with 2GB memory card, i try to play any game bigger than 1MB, it say out of memory error java !!!!

Could anyone know the reason and able to help me pls ???
