    Just let it dry.

Seriously, trust me on this =P. One of my Nokias fell in Ice Cold Water during the winter, and it worked fine. And I had another experience where my 4 year old bro was running around with my mum's Nokia, he decided to throw it in the toilet. I washed it with water, let it dry for awhile, and it works like a charm.

Give it a day or two, leave it in an area where the water can dry properly. If it the water dries and it still doesn't work, take it to a repair shop.

i agree with the above poster! i had an n80 internet edition that i put through the wash about a year ago. i left it out to dry for a few days and it was fine after that! lol. if anything, wait a couple more days and see what happens. if not, bring it back to the store or if you want you can try repairing it yourself by buying a new lcd screen off ebay or something. hope this helps.

Since the warranty, if there was any is now void, I would suggest using rubbing Alcohol and UV light to try and clear the water impurities off of the phones board.
A cell phone uses sealed semiconductors, so you might have a chance to fix it. Remove the outer case, use the rubbing Alcohol to clean the board, then leave the board in a window near a UV light source. Not too much, but enough to kill any bacteria from the water. The rubbing Alcohol will turn into vapor very quickly so it is perfect for cleaning electronics.
Also, make sure you ground yourself before touching the board. You can do this by touching something metal that goes to the ground. Anything that has shocked you before.
And make sure the phone is resting on something that is not a conductor like plastic or wood.

You might as well try this if you have no other options.

    Re: nokia got wet!!!!

Whenever a phone gets wet one of the big problems is corrosion. Water has different minerals and salts in it that will corrode the circuit board. So if left alone connections on the board will rot and fail. So using rubbing alcohol to clean the board can help out a lot. And using UV light to dry the board kills anything that would help lead to corrosion.

The very first thing that must be done is remove the battery from the wet phone. Then cleaning would come next.
