problem transferring data to pc

I have tryed everything. I have the correct cable and I downloaded pc suite.
When asked to hook up to phone I get message saying
enhancement not supported.
How can this be fixed?

What phone do you have? Have you tried toggling the USB connection settings around?

I have a Nokia 6080.
I am sorry but what does toggling the USB connection settings around mean?
If you could let me know what this is I can try it.

Look around in your settings to find the USB connection options. Like options about default USB connection mode, or mass storage vs media transfer vs PC suite vs phone or something of the sort.

Just as a troubleshooting thing I'd go through and try each setting and plug in the phone.
