My Nokia 3220 is not connecting to pc ! HELP PLZ !!!

Even though i have the latest PC Suit (v.7) and DKU-5 cable driver in my pc but still i can't connect my nokia 3220 to my pc.whenever i connect my cell, i find "NO PHONE CONNECTED" on my nokia pc suit screen and the pc asks me to download or update cable driver.

I got my DKU-5 cable with my cell.(I lost my CD which had drivers and pc suit in it) i dont think the cable is original made by Nokia but i remember it used to work fine about a couple of months ago.But now its giving problem.So do i need to install any Driver or what???

Any suggestion or help would be much appreciated.

The cable driver is built-in the PC Suite software. You can try an older version of PC suite (6.83 etc) to see if it works.

Have you tried | Settings --> Add more phones |? because the same happens to me with the new version of pc suite... it appears that the problem of the new suite is it doesnt detect the phones automatically so i have to add my phone to the programs database every now and then...
