SMS received: display names of contacts

I recently acquired a Nokia C6.

When I receive a sms from a contact (whose No. is stored in the memory of the mobile phone), it is not the contact name in question s poster but its no ...

Therefore difficult to know from whom the sms, at least through the list of contacts to see who is No.! Painful!

Can anyone tell me how to display contact names and not their No. when I receive a sms from them?

I'm exactly the same problem. c7 now got a nokia and I have the contacts stored. being that when I get a message, only the number appears and not the contact name!
I have been to the store and exchanged for another, the problem continues!
