Answering or Ignoring Phone Calls:

  1. To answer an incoming phone call, tap "answer"
  2. To ignore an incoming phone call, tap "ignore"
  3. You can also reject a phone call with a text message. To do so, tap "text reply" and enter the desired message

Activating / Deactivating Call Forwarding:

  1. While viewing the Start screen, tap the "Phone" tile
  2. Tap the "menu" icon depicting three horizontal dots
  3. Select "settings"
  4. Toggle the "Call forwarding slider" in the "on" position
  5. Tap the "call forwarding number" field and type in the phone number that you wish to forward your calls to
  6. Touch "Save"
  7. To deactivate call forwarding, toggle the "Call forwarding slider" in the "off" position

Using Call Waiting or 3-Way Calling:

  1. To place a conference call (also known as 3-way calling), tap the "add call" while in a phone call
  2. Tap the "Address book icon" to place a call from the contact list
  3. Navigate to, and then tap the desired contact
  4. Tap the phone number and once the call is connected, tap "merge calls"
  5. To end a call, tap "end call"
  6. To receive a second call (or call waiting), tap the "answer" button. Note: the current call will be placed on hold
  7. To send the new call in the voicemail, tap "ignore"

Changing or Resetting the Voicemail Password:

The basic voicemail allows you to call your own voicemail box and listen as well as manage your voice messages.

  1. To reset your voicemail password go to att.com/esupport and follow the instructions
  2. After receiving the free text message containing your temporary password, tap the "Phone" tile on your Start screen
  3. Tap "Voice mail"
  4. When prompted, enter the temporary password provided via the text message
  5. When prompted, type in your new password and then press the "#" key

Setting Up Visual Voicemail:

Visual voicemail allows you to play and manage voicemail messages on your device, on an on-screen inbox

  1. Tap the "Phone" tile located on the Start screen
  2. Tap the "voicemail icon" and follow the voice prompts to set up your password
