All things agreed, the 3100 is a very cool-looking phone, yea? But...well, there's this little matter bout the cost? Its not out here yet, so I don't know, but can somebody give me a rough idea of the price of the 3100, in singaporean dollars, US dollars or pounds. That'll be WAY cool of you, thx

Good phone.
The java games you can get for it are excellent. TFT screen is good, although only 4000 colours.
I had problem originally with mine it used to switch itself off. I heard this was a problem with the original phones, I got it within the first week of it's release. I think it's been fixed now with a flash upgrade, although a new sim sorted mine out.
Battery life is good.
Damn I'm almost wishing I didn't get my T610 to replace it now

Cool! Yea, that's around my 'budget' thanx Was worried bout it costing SG$500 or more (tho it shouldn't, doesn't have that much features, just looks COOL!). Was expecting about $300 plus Thanks! Now...to just wait until it comes here...sigh...might take awhile. Things are So slow here! Don't even have MMS yet! Useless i tell ya!
nevermind it's ok... coz if your country is too fast and that if you are unlucky, you'll get too much interfernce with the monitor my msg radiation.. kinda irritating..
happy waiting, thought that brunei arent so slow? haIZ! dun worry your wait wont be long

6610 is Cool!...
I have it too. My 6610 is not only a handphone itself but also my midi music machine. I edited my own midis from the downloaded ones, upload them into my phone. I have full length songs uploaded and they sounded GREEEEAT!!
I also upload much games to the phone. Although the memory is way considered as "VERY LOW" I just install what's interesting. I now can also have Space Impact 2 (in full color) installed in my phone. Works fine with sound.
Wallpaper is just too easy for this phone. Using My Nokia Phone browser, I just drag and drop my pictures around 128 X 128 is pretty large enuff for me. Of couse is not as big as the good PDA Nokia 7650 or 3650, just "DUN COMPLAIN"
The best part? The price is goood. It's true it is a smaller version of 7210. Handset Camera can be purchase easily, lock it into the Flip-Flop connector below the phone, and that's it!! START Taking Pictures.
I need more free Java applications. Please... Anyone answer my questions....
Questions
-----------------
A) Can My 6610 be a TV controller?
B) Anyway to upgrade the memory?
c) Anything such as a memory doubler for 6610?
d) How to convert Wav into Midi with good "Voice" quality... Pls suggest one.
e) Any Software for 6610? Where to download?
The whole questions here sounds like the 7650 stuff rite? I think there should also be some for 6610 too. At least the IR Remote stuff.. Cool stuff.
Hoping to hear from ya all..

After using my old 3310 since my t610 went in for a software upgrade one big thing I noticed about the 6610 is the poor sound quality of voice calls.
The sound quality is sharper but almost, and in most cases it is, to the point of distortion.

What does the sound quality of voice calls have to do with poly phones? I'm not talking about the quality of poly ring tones.
The SE t610 I also have has great audio quality and also has much better poly ringtone support than the 4 note polyphonic 6610.

I have had my phone now for just over a week. I went from having a year and a half old t68 to my new 6610.
So for me everything is a vast improvement (except no bluetooth)
other than that this phone works like a dream

had mine for about a month, nice phone
but since THIS IS a midiboard one gripe is that it has only 4 polyphonic levels .... not bad ... untill you here the cheaper 3100 with 16 but then again the 6610 has a radio too....

Ive got one its a great phone. The only thing that is wrong with it is that it has a very small memory as uae77 said and the newer nokias have better screen quality, other than that its great

I reckon if you really need a radio in your phone, go for the 6610 but otherwise just go for the 6100 - it's nice 'n' sleek )
