    Hi there!

I've got this little question. I have some nice Midi files that I would like to use as ringtone on my Nokia 6610. But some of the files show that they can't be played when I upload them to the phone with the Nokia Sound Converter.

Does anyone know better software to convert/upload midi files to ringtones for Nokia 6610? I've tried Oxygen, but that program seems to have problems with my USB datacable or something...

See More: How to convert Midi 2 ringtone for 6610?

try to minimize the length f your midi files using PSM player5.0 and editor you can get the file at http://members.chello.nl/dondiegox1/v200/PsmPlay5.0.exe after converting the midis you can upload it into your Phone using Mobile Media Browser 1.2 which is a shareware (cracked) program you can find thru a google search

Only problem left for me is that I can't manage to connect Mobile Media Browser 1.2 with my USB datacable for my nokia 6610 and I can't find a proper crack for it...

Ah well, nevermind that... The PsmPlayer is a true gem for me! And I can still upload the songs with the Nokia Sound Converter (eventhough I don't like that bit of software very much)...

haha. PSm player is quite nice software. But current Nokia color phone supports 4 tones polyphonic. Unlike Samsung supports 40 chord. (That's a huge different...) But dun worry. we still have new color phones that's support mp3!! Yippie!!

Who cares about 40 or 4 tones? I don't need 40... It's only a ringing tone for me and it's nice if it sounds like songs I like, but it doesn't have to be a complete orchestra for me

Nokia Sound converter is very poor, well, this nokia is poor if you want to have polyphonics as in T610, for example.
you only can play four channels. I usually download a midi program (look in google, for free downloading, apmstudio or something),
then I play and cut channels, and after this I try in Sound Converter. I've done like this with success
