This one is free: post #5
You must have the Sprint CD software installed, and
You must have the USB driver from the Sprint website.
email the hack to your phone, install to phone.
{What worked for me is copying the downloaded file to an SD card and using the latest version of resco explorer, I selected the file and hit "install to RAM". Soft reset and presto}
Dial #777
I finally got this to work

-mike | I dont think so,
Carefully monitor your bill during the first month of tethering to be sure.

-mike | You're supposed to get the PAM plan (Phone As Modem) for teethering. From what I understand, Sprint can tell the difference between data usage on the phone and data usage being teethered. I'm not talking about using with PDANet or USBModem though.
Point is, I wouldn't substitute teethering from your phone in place of your dsl/cable internet plan. Using it to check email, light browsing (no downloads) shouldn't be a prob.

#13 | | Member | I just tried using USBModem connecting my Palm Centro to my Nokia 770 internet tablet and it worked like a charm. I'd never use the phone to connect to my laptop as the data use would be considerably more than on an internet tab I believe.
One thing, Bludiamond you mentioned using the free version of USBModem-is the product a functional trail or was the program free at one point? Mine has a 14 day/30 uses limit on it (demo).
