about to smash my 650 treo

ok so i got a second hand treo 650 from a friend and i know it works well, however, he dropped it in a bucket of water and thought it was no good after.. well i cleaned up most of it and charged it afterwards. Everything works fine, EXCEPT THE EAR PIECE AND THE MICROPHONE. i tried to get a bluetooth for it and it doesn't register, it'll pop up on screen then disappears.. like i said everythying on the phone works good as new, except the actual phoning part.. someone help me befor this phone takes over me..dont tell me water damage is the end of the phones life either!!..HELP PLEASE...thanks in advance...

Take the battery out for a few days.
you might even put in the oven for a few minutes.
search this site for water damage, and for a new phone.

if you decide to scrap it for parts, I've got dibs on the motherboard! Is it GSM? Otherwise, you probably need a new radio card, which is like trying to find a motherboard like me :P
