Please help with 650

I just bought my wife a 650 that has no disc or manual. It stays on the hotsync screen untill I press the home button. After the display goes off (apprx 30 sec) it defaults back to the hotsync screen. I do not have aby software to sync it with my pc. Please help

After much research the conclusion is that these Phones have a history of this problem. If hard resests and or cleaning the connector at its base does not remedie said problem the hardware is defective. Which mine was. I returned the phone and picked up a KRZR like mine as it has been the best phone i have had. Thanks

Goto the palm website, get your software.
Do a hard reset. Do a hotsync,
