How do i enter Pause in contacts?

I have many contacts with extension numbers, so i would need to dial the persons number and when the systems prompts, add the particular extension number i'm trying to reach. In my old phone I would enter 10 digit # 123-456-7890 Pause (and then the persons extension number). Is there anyone that knows how this can be done ?

I don't know much about the Palm's, but with most phone's I have had and played with, pushing the pound or star key normally enters a "P" or something similar, to show a pause there. If that doesn't work, I would try a comma and see if that works. If not, then I am all out of idea's, but i'm sure someone here can comment in for ya!
