Prepare to sell Verizon Palm Centro

I still have service with Verizon for my Palm Centro. I am, however, trying to sell my Palm Centro and probably switch carriers from Verizon to AT&T. I would like to delete my cell phone number from the Palm Centro so when I sell it, the person who buys doesn't have my service on the phone. Would I have to call Verizon to do this or are there some easy steps to follow to delete my phone number data from my phone?

Only one phone can be activated on a line at the same time. When you activate your new phone your palm will be taken off of your plan. There shouldn't be anything else you have to do other than delete your contacts and whatever else from the phone.

I am having the same issue with about five sprint phones I am going to sell, I'm taking the to my local sprint store to see if they can delete it, I'm sure a Verizon store can do the same

Now why on earth would you leave Verizon for at&t I hope it's not for the iphone
