Sweet deal. Thats some good news for me. I was touching my friends pre and I liked it but I can't say I like sprint's coverage where I live.

I want a Palm Pre SO BADLY. I haven't gotten one yet because I am sure I get no service from Sprint where I live. Verison is sketchy too, but more likely than Sprint!

I wouldn't mind trying out a Pre, but you can't ignore the enormous market share that Apple has carved out with Smartphones. Given all of their Apps and whole Apple ecosystem, isn't choosing a Pre choosing a lesser device than just picking up an iPhone from the get-go?

Of course, the more providers the better to popularize any device. Ideally all great devices would be available on all networks.
