GU87 delete all function for SMS messages

Is there any way to add in a feature to "delete all" sms messages? I notice that a lot of other phones have this feature but the GU87 does not, at least not in the firmware revision that I'm running (A38 I believe).

I get a lot of alert messages from systems at work, and being able to delete them all at once would be "very" nice.

Any help out there? Or does anyone know if this is a feature of one of the later versions of firmware?
