My wife and I both have this phone since June or July of 2011, along with the $10, 75MB data plan. We both love it. I use many of the phone and data functions much more than my wife. Phone functions I use most heavily are phoning (!!!), contacts (it's my Rolodex), calendar (couldn't survive without it), alarm clock, camera, music, and more. Data plan functions I use most are e-mail, VZ Navigator, Facebook, Bing, and other Internet/browser functions.

My previous phone was the LG VX-6100 which I had from November 2004 until getting the Octane. In fact, I probably wouldn't have changed phones until I got jealous of my wife's Octane with data plan.
