Long time ago, I'd see references to the coming world of 'mini cells. The idea
being that there would be many smaller "towers" which define more but smaller
    cells.

But just glancing around, I don't see a lot of anything with antennas on it.

Are we still in a world of a few big towers? Or are in the mini-cell scenario?

Many people use the word "tower" when they should use "site". A tower is a
tall, thin structure designed for the purpose of hanging antennas on,
storing water, etc. A "site" is a collection of equipment (sometimes
including a tower) used to create one or more "cells". A site can be
something as small as a breadbox hanging on the wall inside a building or
(as in Japan) inside a vending machine on the street.

I do not agree with some of the informaton posted on this site. It is
clearly very pro-GSM. It states that Verizon and Sprint and other CDMA
networks provide "muffled" audio quality. IMHO GSM audio quality is much
    more muffled than CDMA.

Well I posted the site more for its gallery than the written content.
Clarity in a cellphone is typicially user perception and this guy
    perfers GSM.
That's his opinion and he is allowed to have it just like you are
    allowed to have yours. ;-)

    Yes - to both

It all depends on where you are.
