    Turn On Battery Saving Mode (Low Power Mode):

    1. Open “Settings”
    2. Access “Battery”
    3. Tap the “Low Power Mode” switch to enable the option
    4. To change how Low Power Mode works, you can enable or disable options including “Background app refresh”, “Mail fetch” etc.

    Lower the Screen Brightness:

    1. On the home screen, swipe up from the bottom to access the Control Center
    2. From the Control Center, drag the brightness slider towards the left side of the screen to decrease luminosity

    Turn Off Wi-Fi, Hotspot, Bluetooth, and GPS:

    NOTE: You can improve battery life in the long run by disabling the phone’s connectivity features (like Wi-Fi, Hotspot, Bluetooth, and GPS) when they are not in use.

    1. Open “Settings”
    2. Tap the “Wi-Fi”, “Bluetooth” , “Privacy” (GPS), and “Personal Hotspot” (Wi-Fi HotSpot) switches and set them to OFF

    Disable Background Data:

    1. Open “Settings”
    2. Go to “General”
    3. Tap “Background App Refresh” and follow one of these steps:
      • To enable / disable background data for all apps, tap the toggle associated with “Background App Refresh”
      • To enable / disable background data for a specific application, tap the slider next to the app

    Change App Sync Settings:

    NOTE: By changing your apps / accounts sync settings to sync less data, you might improve battery life in the long run.

    1. Open “Settings”
    2. Tap “Mail, Contacts & Calendars”
    3. Tap “Fetch New Data” and select an account
    4. Set it to “Manual”

    Switch to 2G Networks:

    NOTE: If your phone runs low on battery and you want to conserve battery life until the next recharge, you can temporarily switch to 2G networks to do so.

    1. Open “Settings”
    2. Tap “Cellular”
    3. Tap the slider associated with “Enable LTE” to turn off the option and use 2G networks instead

    Keep the Phone Updated:

    NOTE: Software updates can include battery life improvements, and thus it’s recommended to keep your iPhone up to date at all times. To check for OS updates:

    1. Open “Settings”
    2. Go to “General”
    3. Tap “Software update”
    4. In case an update is available, follow the on-screen prompts to download and apply it. NOTE: This process will require you to reboot your phone
