I have been very happy with Verizon for 12 years, but due to children going to college and the fact that most of their friends have ATT is forcing me to change to ATT. My question is Verizon offers the Casio Gz'one phone that is very durable and quite water resistant. This has worked wonderfully for my son who is very hard on phones. I have looked at the descriptions on the ATT site and cannot find a comparable phone that ?maybe? my son wouldn't beat up. Does anyone have any suggestion on the most durable phone ATT offers?
Thanks

Re: Most durable phone ATT offers?
I asked at the AT&T mall kiosk for a durable phone for my husband and the manager offered a phone that is issued to Members of the military. He said it was nearly bulletproof. Problem is, I can't remember what it was, but if you ask, I'm sure they can tell you. It's probably never offered as a free upgrade phone either, but I think he said it wasn't expensive as an upgrade.
My sixteen YO daughters phone just went t's-up too, after only 14 months, and they won't replace it because they say the moisture indicator shows it got wet. We live in Oregon...everything gets wet....24/7. I've had my Sony-Erickson 'old school' flip phone for over 4-5 years and it's still going strong.
Good luck.

Re: Most durable phone ATT offers?
I ran my Nokia through the washing machine by not checking pockets. I noticed what I had done when I put the clothes in the dryer. I shook as much water out of the phone as I could. I thought I had just ruined my almost new phone. I was sick.
I took the battery out of the phone and laid everthing on the kitchen counter. A few days later, I put the battery back in the watch and turned it on. It worked. In fact in continuied to work just fine until I replaced it a few years later. True story.
Your mileage may vary.
