I finally got a stylus that works on my iPhone!

I've tried a whole bunch of different styluses - targus, bamboo, pengo, justmobile, DIY with a scrubby sponge - you name it.

After having all these styluses fail me I took the plunge with Stylus-R-Us.

I ordered the stylus and immediately received a confirmation along with PDFs explaining how to use it and maintain it. The stylus arrived at my door in two days.

Enough preamble, on to the stylus:

I picked The Terminator model

First - It feels like a pen. Not a thin, skinny pen, but a real substantial pen.

Second - It telescopes. I wasn't sure what to make of this feature when I read about it but after using it I have to say its amazing. The stylus starts at 5 inches and goes all the way to a little over 9. This is great when you need to actually see what you're writing. It also means that for a guy with big hands (I'm 6'4) I finally have a stylus that fits. I can imagine this would also be a great feature for disabled people.

Third - it requires zero pressure to operate. Its got a fuzzy tip made of who-knows-what that glides over the iPad surface. It never gets stuck or drags like the plastic tipped stylus I bought from the guy at Targus.


The stylus I bought is pricey ($45), but you get what you pay for. I'm the type of person who'd rather have one good item than five cheap ones. There are also a bunch of different types of stylus and some are quite a bit cheaper than the one I settled on.

You are completely right!
After trying and buying a couple of styli, I was almost ready to give up . I bought two from your list and two more that you don't mention and it was a waste of money and time.
A friend of mine got a stylus form Stylus-R-Us , she let me try it and I had to buy one immediately! I got a notification that my stylus was going to be mailed the same day I made my purchase and three days after, I had my new stylus at home. My friend has the Terminator but I went for The Artist. I can't imagine using my iPad or iPhone with no stylus or with one of those mentioned before!
I totally agree with you: better to have one good item than five that are junk.
