how to unlock the LG 365 Go phone frm att

my brother has one of this out of the us , and he ask me for a unluck code ,so i sent it to him. is already unlucked but idoes not recognized any carrier,
he said something about 11 lucks or codes ,i have not idea what that is ,does any budy know anithing about it.
