I am looking at the very confusing world of signal boosters, antennas, and other devices like stick on thingies that I am doubtful will work to help boost my signal inside my home. I have a Samsung Note 3. I just need 2 bars or 3 bars inside my home, my plan is to get rid of my very expensive plan with my land line. Hopefully. I don't know what to get, I don't want to spend a fortune, and if an antenna would work that would be ideal. I can always connect it to the phone (at least I think that is possible, what do you use the headphone jack?) I have seen some used on RVs and that seems ok to me. Of course if I don't have to be physically connected to the antenna all the better. I see some cheap boosters from China on ebay, I have looked at the more expensive ones from Wilson. Then I have also seen the car ones, and ones for RV. If any of these work for me that would be ok, of course I would like to spend the least possible. So I prefer not a cord but I will tolerate it. I am willing to spend up to $200 US on this or a bit more if necesary. Thanks! I am using Iusacell's network here in Mexico.

    Thank you
    Laura

Oh, and I have 1 bar inside my house, and 2 outside the front door.

I have had a cell phone for years with Telcel (our biggest carrier, also very unfair). This new phone with Iusacell has a plan where I can call Canada, US and Mexico without incurring new charges, but what makes this plan excellent for me is that I can call cell phones without being charged extra (here we pay for all calls to cell phone, even from land lines) so this is the reason I really need to make this work well. Other carriers from what I have seen do not work better here, I have had other carriers phones here without any reception. So I want to make this work, I just need a small improvement. I am not looking for full bars here, just with 1 more bar I would be very happy. Thank you for your response though, I appreciate. I just need to figure out what would be cost effective an antenna or the booster, and if there is an antenna without a cord that would transmit the outside signal to the inside of my living room. Like maybe an RV antenna, I imagine that could work? Or a car one? I just need a 12v converter?

These problems are in common nowadays and according to my view signal boosters really are vital solution for your poor coverage.
