I currently have an iPhone 4 (I'm on a 3 year contract), but I want to switch to a Blackberry Bold. Can I buy a Blackberry from my friend who is also with bell? Her Phone is locked to Bell. (I know that Bell does not allow phones from other companies on their network) Would it actually work if I put my sim card in it?

Re: Can I switch phones?
As long as you're switching the correct type of SIM (micro or not, depending) then yes, the switch would work fine, though to use the data on the Blackberry you would have to change your data plan, as Blackberry phones are not compatible with normal smartphone data features. Bell also does allow third party or 'grey market' devices on the network, but because many of the settings are not obtained automatically as they would be by official Bell devices, not all functionality can be guaranteed.
