Hello and thanks to all who take the time to read this post.
I'm spanking new to cell phone forums and am not sure where to start my search.
Friends are asking me to see how and if they can use their (various) phones and other devices to connect their (various) computers to the internet and I'm not sure in which forum to post my questions.
Thanks,
Phil

Re: Connect computer to internet, where to start?
You will need the DUN bluetooth (BT) profile on your phone, a USB BT adapter for the PC, and an unlimited data plan from your carrier.

phone number: *99#
modem: your phone connects to your computer (if it connects through USB cable, you need modem driver; if it connects through bt, you have your bt adaptor installed and paired with the phone)
