Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc, now unlocked and SIM free in the US

US customers will soon find that the Sony Ericsson's Xperia Arc will not be available, unlocked. The Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc has already been available for the US, it was still a locked handset.

US customers who have been wanting the Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc can now purchase the handset online at Sony's online store. The handset will be SIM free, unlocked and without branded by a carrier.

That being said...you can expect to pay a lot more for the Xperia Arc since it is SIM free and unlocked and without having a contract. Price of the Xperia Arc will cost you $599.99.
