Normally when you see a price drop on a new phone, it's usually with third parties such as Amazon or Best Buy and most carriers will not drop the price of a new phone until a successor or a new phone launches.
Things seem to be different with Sprint. Sprint has decided to cut the price of the Samsung Google
Nexus S 4G down from $199.99 to $99.99. That's a $100 savings. Of course you will be required to sign a new 2 year contract agreement with Sprint to get this deal and you also get Sprint's WiMax 4G network that will provided you with increased data speeds.
