Setting up Google Now

To set up Google Now you need to sign in into your Google account. You also need an Internet connection available and have the location services turned on.

1. Abrir o Google app or press and hold the Casa key .

Sending a Facebook Message

You can use the Facebook Messenger app to talk to your friends on Facebook or even send texts and multimedia messages (MMS) to a phone number.

1. From the cover feed, press and hold your profile picture -> drag the picture to the Chat icon.
2. To write a new message, tap the plus sign and select one of the following options:
   
   • tap the To field and enter the name of the contact you want to send the message to and then tap the suggested friend.
   • enter a phone number in the To field -> tap the Text to: -> to add more recipients, repeat the same step.
3. Then tap the text box -> type in your message.
4. If you also want to add an attachment, tap the plus sign -> select the desired attachment type.
5. Quando terminar, toque Send.

Creating a Favorites List

You can send messages to your closest friends more quickly using the Favorites list.

1. From the cover feed, press and hold your profile picture -> drag the picture to the Chat icon.
2. Then tap the Friends icon -> select Edit.

Turning Off Text Messaging from Facebook Messenger

Don’t want to receive text or multimedia messages via Facebook Messenger? Don’t worry, you can disable the feature.

1. From the cover feed, press and hold your profile picture -> drag the picture to the Chat icon.
2. Then press Menu -> tap Configurações -> select SMS/MMS -> and just uncheck the Enable text messaging option.
3. Once the Facebook Messenger is disabled, you’ll only receive messages via the Android Messenger app.

Sharing Your Photos to Facebook

1. If you want to share a photo with your Facebook friends, after taking a photo, tap the Apps icon located on the Viewfinder tela.
2. Then tap the photo thumbnail icon if you’d like to tag it and then select your friend’s face.
3. To select that photo, tap the Checked icon.
4. If you’d like to tag and select more pictures, go to the next or previous photo by swiping either left or right and repeat the steps 2 and 3.
5. To share the desired photos on Facebook, tap the Compose icon -> enter a description and to add a location to your photos, tap the Location icon -> to add the photos to an existing album, tap the Album icon and if you want to change the audience or privacy options, tap the Audience icon.
6. Finally, tap Post when ready.

Recording a Video

1. Open the app launcher and tap Photos.
2. Then, from the bottom of the photo gallery, tap the Camera icon.
3. Tap the Camcorder icon to switch to video mode.
4. By using the on-screen controls you can zoom in or out, as well as switch from the secondary to the main camera and more.
5. For more options about flash and other features, tap the More icon.
6. Ready to record the video? Then tap the Record icon.
7. To stop recording, tap the Record icon again.

Sharing Videos to Facebook

1. After you’re done recording a video, tap the Checked icon.
2. Enter the desired description of the video.
3. And by tapping to Location icon, select your location.
4. Tap the Album icon to add the video to an album,
5. Tap the Audience icon to select the privacy options/audience.
6. Finally, tap Post.

Using the Android Camera

Don’t want to use the Facebook Camera? That’s perfectly fine, as you can still use the Android Camera!

1. Go to the Apps screen and tap Camera.
2. Then select one of the following options:
   
   • tap the Camera icon to switch to photo mode and then tap the Blue capture icon to take a photo
   • or panoramic photos, tap the Panorama icon and tap the Green capture icon to take the photos -> your HTC First should be panned as smoothly as possible to capture the frames
   • tap the Camcorder icon to switch to video mode -> then tap the Red capture icon to start recording your video.
3. To switch between the primary and secondary camera, use the flash mode or zoom in and out, use the controls located on the Viewfinder.

This is a very basic question (i'm starting low and working up lol!) but I would like to add a live ticker for the Detroit Tigers on my phone so I can keep up to date on the score of each game. When I go into the widget area there is no Widget for ESPN, let alone the Tigers. Can anyone explain to me how to create this or what to do? I know it's possible but I can't seem to figure out how to get the ESPN widget in the first place (I know how to place it once I have it, basically just don't know how to get it to be an option!).

I have searched on HTC Forum, but I haven't gotten the info that I am looking for. I'm hoping that I can get help here. I want to try HTC because my friend says it's really good compared to Samsung. I'm not sure how true it is. What's a good HTC phone? I'm looking for a slightly bigger screen than the iPhone 4S, great camera and resolution, doesn't lag, compact, and easy to use. I don't like overly complicated phones. Samsung is also okay, but I think HTC is more durable?
