I have a LG G2 from verizon, on contract. I cant pay the bill and service is going to be shut off in 2 weeks. From what I've read this will give my phone a bad ESN?
Is there any way I can switch my phone to a prepaid service or will my bad ESN stop me? I've found a service that will flash my phone to work with Straight Talk and Page Plus, but I'm not sure if my phone will work.
I really love my phone so any help / suggestions appreciated!

Re: Switching from Contract to Prepaid
Since Straight talk and Page Plus use GSM and don't register the phone via ESN, then you should be able to use the phone with them. I believe the GSM side of the phone is unlocked from the factory, but you may want to check. You'll have to change the APN settings to get data and mms, which can be a pain depending on the phone.

yes, you can. You can just get an prepaid card.
