Using iTunes:

NOTE: Using iTunes on a computer with Internet access you can sync your iPhone contacts with a Google account. Then you can add the account on the Pop Mega and sync the contacts with it for an easy transfer.

  1. Launch iTunes on the computer
  2. Establish a USB connection between the PC and iPhone
  3. Click the iPhone in iTunes to view its summary page
  4. Access the “Info” tab
  5. Enable “Sync Contacts With” and select “Google Contacts” from the drop-down menu
  6. Register your Google account or click “Configure” and select an existing one if applicable
  7. Click “Apply” to begin the sync
  8. Switch to the Pop Mega and register the same Google account used in iTunes. Allow it to sync contacts with your Android device

Using iCloud:

NOTE: If you have used the iCloud backup service on your iPhone before, your contacts should be backed up on your iCloud account already. You can access it on a computer with Internet, and export the contacts as a VCF file

  1. Launch the Internet browser on your computer
  2. Visit https://www.icloud.com/ and sign in with your iCloud account
  3. Click “Contacts” and select the ones you want to share
  4. Click “Settings” > “Export vCard”
  5. After the file is downloaded on your computer, import it to “Google Contacts” or alternatively, skip this step and instead perform the following:
  6. Connect the Alcatel OneTouch to your computer via USB and transfer the vCard file to its storage. Next, open “People”, go to “Contacts”, press “Menu” > “Import / Export” and follow the self-explanatory steps to import the vCard file to the phonebook

Using “My Contacts Backup”:

NOTE: While the methods above require access to a computer, you can also transfer your files without one, using third party applications. My Contacts Backup is an iOS app that can be used to back up your iPhone contacts and transfer them via email.

  1. Go to the App Store and install “My Contacts Backup” on the iPhone
  2. Launch the app and tap “Backup” (this will create a vCard file with your contacts)
  3. When completed, tap “Email” to attach the vCard to a new email
  4. Send the email to your own address
  5. Switch to the Alcatel OneTouch and open the email
  6. Download the attached vCard file and import it using the “Import” function in the “People” app

Using “Send Anywhere”:

NOTE: You can also use Send Anywhere as a third party app for transferring contacts. Available on Android and iOS, the app uses a P2P connection to transfer contacts and other file types, even cross-platform.

  1. Open the App Store and install “Send Anywhere” on the iPhone
  2. From the Google Play Store, install the same app on the Alcatel device
  3. Open the app on both smartphones
  4. Tap “Send” on the iPhone
  5. Tap “Contacts” and select the contacts you want to share
  6. Tap “Send” and select a method of transfer. Tapping “Generate QR Code” will create a code that can be scanned with the Alcatel phone’s camera to begin the transfer. Alternatively you can tap “Receive” on the Android phone, and manually enter the transfer code generated on the iPhone
