Transfer Audio Files from a Windows PC:
- Connect the ZTE Avid Plus to your computer via USB
- Swipe the notification bar down on the home screen
- Make sure Media device (MTP) is enabled
- On the computer, open the File Explorer
- Locate the audio files you want to use for ringtones
- Copy the files and transfer them on the phone storage, preferably in the Ringtones / Notification / Alarms directories
- After the transfer is done, eject the phone storage from the system tray
- You can now safely disconnect the phone from the USB
Change the General Ringtone:
- Open the phones Settings menu
- Under Device, tap Sound
- Tap Phone ringtone under Call ringtone & vibrate
- Select the desired ringtone and tap OK to set it
- Optionally, you can turn Also vibrate for calls On or Off
Change the Ringtone of a Contact:
NOTE: Custom ringtones cannot be assigned to contacts on the SIM card or the internal memory.
- Open Contacts
- Select the desired contact and tap Edit
- Tap Menu > Set ringtone
- Select the desired ringtone and tap OK to confirm
Change the Notification Sound:
- Open the phones Settings menu
- Tap Sound & Notification under Device
- Scroll to Sound and tap Default notification sound
- Select the notification sound you wish to use and tap OK to confirm
