Kroger now offers wireless UNLIMITED talk (but not text) for $60!!! And it's on Sprint's network!! So unlike Cricket, the coverage should be GREAT. I heard is however on Sprints CDMA network. Now i-Wireless (iwirelesshome dot com) offers crap for phones. I would like to know if a Sprint CDMA phone could be used on i-Wireless if it was, say, unlocked. BUT.. even if I got an unlocked Sprint phone that's CDMA and should work, how the heck would I make it work for i-Wireless?? For first and foremost, does anyone know if a Sprint CDMA phone will work on Kroger's (Kroger stores) i-Wireless?

Re: Can I use an unlocked Sprint CDMA phone on Kroger's I-Wireless?
It's more a question of Kroger's policy. Do they activate phones they do not sell? That said, the phones (Sprint's phones) are compatible with Kroger's service. Getting a Sprint phone unlocked though, won't be easy, because they are subsidy locked and you generally have to get the unlocked code from Sprint; they most likely won't give it.

Re: Can I use an unlocked Sprint CDMA phone on Kroger's I-Wireless?
I want to bump this thread. I love I-Wireless service. I pay $20 for unlimited texting (which is ridiculous..but read on), and $10 for minutes- $30 a month for everything I need.
If I could figure out how to unlock the Katana LX phone I use, could I get the CDMA info I need and put it into a third party CDMA phone?
