Re: help on iden webjal program
Follow these instructions for Webjal
Make sure the options is set to USB, (default is serial)
And make sure you are on the web with no firewallsLast edited by camstuf; 11-03-2006 at 06:50 AM.

Re: help on iden webjal program
A serial cable is the other style plug on the back of your computer with the screw in locks.

Re: help on iden webjal program
If you are using a usb cable you need to open webjal click on preferences click the box that says connect via usb then click apply.

If you've done everything correctly then it should work. If it's still not working then goto CONTROL PANEL -> PHONE AND MODEM OPTIONS -> Remove all the Motorola USB iDEN Modem drivers then disconnect your phone from the USB Cable and plug it back in. Do the auto-install once windows detects the USB device and reinstall the USB Drivers once.
Try to connect to your phone again. If it still doesn't work, try removing the patch and uninstall WebJAL and start from scratch. Don't forget to remove the iden modem drivers again. Good luck.

Re: help on iden webjal program
Right, and if you do use media center...
harrythompson.com webjal usb general communication errors
After you press the connect button on webjal, Quickly unplug the
usb cable from the computer and quickly plug it back in.
If you time it just right, it will establish the connection and work.
It normally will take a few tries to get it to connect.Last edited by camstuf; 11-04-2006 at 08:10 AM.
