Please, someone help me! My Touch Pro 2 seems to freeze a lot, OR services will stop responding and prompts me to send a message about the problem to Microsoft (error reporting). Usually I just restart the phone and it solves the problems (quite often) but sometimes when I restarted it I would get a RED, GREEN, Blue & WHITE thick horizontal bars. I just simply connected the USB to my computer and tried restarting and usually after a few attempts it would restart. Then recently it has gotten worse, I would have to remove the battery and turn it back on (repeat about 10 times) and it would start again. A few days ago I had to do it HUNDREDS of times for it to restart (battery out - turn back on) the past two days I have had no luck, I've pulled the battery out and restarted literally THOUSANDS of times haha. Note I have never made any modifications to the OS or played games etc. The horrible Sprint store told me it will take them up to 14 days to replace the phone under the replacement insurance program!
So basically I need to know what I can do to beat this "boot loader" cycle?? If I can't get it back up and running before they switch out the phones I loose all my contacts, etc. THANK YOU

Re: Touch Pro2 [WILL NOT BOOT]
14 days replacement does not sound right to me.
I was told 3 days to replace my EVO 4G after $100 deductable.
Any way...Try this:
Back up contacts to google, (Android devices should be already set up)
Back up all personal data and do a factory restore.Last edited by camstuf; 09-08-2011 at 04:23 PM.
