Managing Contacts

Adding a New Contact:

1. Tap the "Apps" button while on the home screen
2. Tap the "People" application
3. Access the "People" tab and press the "+" button
4. Type in the contact's name in the "Name" field
5. Choose the desired type of contact
6. Enter any additional information as you see fit
7. When ready, tap "Save"

Editing a Contact:

1. Open the "People" application
2. Tap the "People" tab
3. Press and hold the desired contact, and tap "Edit contact"
4. Perform the desired changes, and tap "Save"

Importing Contacts from an Exchange ActiveSync Account:

1. From the home screen, tap "People"
2. Tap the "People" tab
3. Enter the desired contact's name or email address in the search box
4. Tap "Search contacts in your Company Directory"
5. Select the contact that you wish to import to your device
6. Tap the "+" button to import the contact

Importing Contacts from the Micro SIM Card:

1. From the "People" application, tap the "People" tab
2. Tap the "Menu" icon
3. Tap "Manage contacts" > "Import / Export contacts" > "Import from SIM card"
4. In case you have an account registered on your device, select the desired type of account
5. Choose the contacts that you wish to import, and tap "Save"

Copying Contacts between Accounts:

1. Open the "People" app and go to the "People" tab
2. Tap the "Menu" icon
3. Tap "Manage contacts" > "Copy contacts"
4. Select an online account or a contact type

Merging and Sending Contact Information

Accepting Contact Link Suggestions:

1. Launch the "People" app
2. Tap the "People" tab
3. If available, press the "Link" suggestion notification
4. From the list of suggested contacts, choose the contacts that you want to merge

Manually Merging Contact Information:

1. From the "People" app, go to the "People" tab
2. Tap the name of the contact that you want to link
3. Press the "Menu" icon
4. Tap "Link"
5. Perform one of the following:
   
   • Tap the "Link" icon under "Suggested links"
   • Select one of the link options under "Add contact"

Breaking the Link Between Contacts:

1. From the "People" app and tab, choose the desired contact
2. Tap "Menu" > "Link"
3. Tap the link icon associated with the desired account (under "Linked contacts") to break the link

Sending Multiple Contact Cards:

1. From the "People" tab in the said app, press "Menu"
2. Tap "Send contacts" and mark the contacts that you wish to send
3. Tap "Send" and select a method of sharing the information

Sending Contact Information:

1. From the "People" tab in the "People" application, perform one of the following:
   
   • To send your contact information: tap and hold "My profile" and tap "Send my profile"
   • To send someone else's contact information: press and hold the name of the desired contact, and tap "Send contact as vCard"
2. Choose the desired method of sharing
3. Select the type of information that you want to share
4. Finally, tap "Send"

Managing Caller Groups

Creating a New Group:

1. Open the "People" application
2. Tap the "Groups" tab
3. Tap the "+" icon
4. Enter the desired name for the group
5. Tap "Menu" > "Add contact to group"
6. Choose the contacts that you want to add to the group
7. Tap "Save"

Adding Contacts to an Existing Caller Group:

1. Tap the "Phone" icon and tap "Groups"
2. Select the desired group
3. Tap the "Add" icon
4. Mark the check boxes associated with the desired contacts
5. Tap "Save" when ready
