Call Forwarding & Managing the Call Log

Forward All Calls (Unconditional):

  1. From the home screen, tap "Apps"
  2. Access "Settings" and tap "Call"
  3. Tap "Call forwarding" > "Always forward"
  4. Enter the number you want to forward calls to and tap "Enable"

Forward Some Calls (Conditional Forwarding):

  1. Open the apps drawer from the home screen
  2. Go to "Settings" and tap "Call" > "Call forwarding"
  3. Choose to "Forward when busy", "Forward when unanswered" or "Forward when unreachable"
  4. Type in the phone number you want to forward calls to and tap "Update"

Cancel Call Forwarding:

  1. Go to the phone's "Settings" menu
  2. Access "Call" and tap "Call Forwarding"
  3. Tap "Always forward"
  4. Tap "Disable"

Viewing and Clearing the Call Log:

  1. To view the call log tap the "Phone" icon
  2. Swipe to the "Call History" tab
  3. Press "Menu" and tap "Remove call history"
  4. Press "Menu" again and tap "Select all"
  5. Tap "Delete" and then press "OK" to confirm

Blocking Calls

Block Calls from a Phone Number:

  1. Tap "Apps" while you view the home screen
  2. Go to "Contacts" and press "Menu"
  3. Tap "Manage contacts" > "Blocked contacts"
  4. Tap the "Add" icon and perform one of the following:
    • To block a phone number from the phonebook:
      1. Mark the check box associated with the contact / log entry you wish to block
      2. Tap "Save"
      3. To copy the contact information to a different account before blocking the contact, tap "OK"
    • To block a phone number:
      1. Enter the phone number you want to block
      2. Tap "OK" to confirm

Unblocking a Number:

  1. Open the apps drawer and launch "Contacts"
  2. Press "Menu"
  3. Tap "Manage Contacts" > "Blocked contacts"
  4. Tap the "Menu" icon and then "Remove block contacts"
  5. Mark the contact you wish to unblock and tap "Delete"

Blocking Messages

To Block a Message / Spam:

  1. Access the "Messages" application
  2. Tap and hold the message thread containing the number you want to block
  3. At the "Message options" pop-up, tap "Block Contact"

Unblocking Messages:

  1. Open the "Messages" application and tap "Menu"
  2. Tap "Block list"
  3. Press "Menu" and tap "Unblock contacts"
