Transfer Audio Files from a Windows Computer:

  1. Establish a USB connection between the HTC Desire 650 and computer
  2. Enable “File Transfer (MTP)” at the prompt or from the “Notification” area
  3. Open the File Explorer on the computer and locate the audio files on the PC storage
  4. Copy the desired audio files and transfer them on the phone storage, preferably in the “Ringtones” / “Notifications” directories
  5. After the transfer is complete, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the device from the USB port

Change the Phone’s Ringtone:

  1. Open the apps drawer
  2. Access “Settings” and tap “Personalize”
  3. Go to “Ringtone” and select the desired ringtone
  4. Tap “Apply” to confirm

Change the Ringtone of a Specific Contact:

NOTE: Custom ringtones cannot be set to contacts stored on the device’s internal memory or the SIM card.

  1. Open the apps drawer
  2. Launch “People” and tap the desired contact
  3. Tap “Ringtone” and select the desired contact ringtone
  4. Tap “Apply”

Change the Notification Sound:

  1. Launch “Settings”
  2. Scroll to and tap “Sounds & Notifications”
  3. Tap “Notification sound” and select the notification alert you want to use
  4. Tap “Apply”
