Transfer Audio Files from a Windows Computer:
- Establish a USB connection between the HTC Desire 650 and computer
- Enable File Transfer (MTP) at the prompt or from the Notification area
- Open the File Explorer on the computer and locate the audio files on the PC storage
- Copy the desired audio files and transfer them on the phone storage, preferably in the Ringtones / Notifications directories
- After the transfer is complete, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the device from the USB port
Change the Phones Ringtone:
- Open the apps drawer
- Access Settings and tap Personalize
- Go to Ringtone and select the desired ringtone
- Tap Apply to confirm
Change the Ringtone of a Specific Contact:
NOTE: Custom ringtones cannot be set to contacts stored on the devices internal memory or the SIM card.
- Open the apps drawer
- Launch People and tap the desired contact
- Tap Ringtone and select the desired contact ringtone
- Tap Apply
Change the Notification Sound:
- Launch Settings
- Scroll to and tap Sounds & Notifications
- Tap Notification sound and select the notification alert you want to use
- Tap Apply
