Info: This may help if you lock your phone and forgot the code

I was unable to get this to work on an LG VX7000... I had better luck with

1.*228

2.Option #1

3. Reset Your Phone

4. Your new Lock Code is the last four digits of your cellphone number!

(I think that this way ONLY works with Verizon. If you call they don't recomend you to do this for some reason... But I think that they just want to get you into the store to pay... This way works just fine.)

*22899 is *228 option 1 without having to choose option 1

Well, it did not understand that the 99 was option #1... It only worked when I chose option 1....

i bought this phone liek 2 weeks ago its an LG vx6100 but i dtn knwo the phone number i got it at a local goodwill, what should i do to unlock it, the verizon people wont help me unless i paid like $150 what should i do??????

I Had A New Phone Number Put On, Then Reprogrammed With *22899 Then Option 1 ,then Put New Ph Number Last 4 Digits. Hope It Helps..
