A friend has the enV Touch and has 400 messages stored on their phone; text and multi-media. Mine has fewer than than 100 and I get a memory warning. There is still plenty of phone memory availible.

Is the text storage set to a finite amount?

    Thanks,
    Dick

Almost all phones have a max number of messages they will store. That's the limit. Even if there is PLENTY of memory left.

I've seen some that stop as low as 60 messages (eek!). It's just how they were designed. Keep in mind that the explosion of txt messaging took a lot of designers by surprise.

Thanks for the response. I had come to the conclusion that phones most likely had a limited amount of memory allocated for message storage but was getting conflicting opinions from Verizon and Motorola support.
