To Customize the Home Screen

You have seven home screen panels that you can customize. To go to a different panel, simply swipe left or right.

The Favorites Tray is available from any home screen panel.
  • To remove an icon from the Favorites Tray, tap and hold the icon you want to remove and then drag it to the Remove icon located at the top of the screen. Once the icon turns red, release your finger.

  • To add an app to the Favorites Tray -> tap Apps -> tap and hold the app you want to add -> drag it to any home screen and release the finger -> then tap and drag the app into the Favorites Tray.

Note: The only icon that cannot be removed from the Favorites Tray is the Apps icon, but you can change and remove all the other icons.

You can group the apps on the home screen into a folder.
  • To create a new folder, tap and drag an app onto another one.

  • To rename the folder, tap Folder -> tap the folder name and enter the desired name and tap OK.


  • To remove an app from a folder, simply drag it outside of the folder, to an open space on the home screen.


  • To delete an entire folder -> tap and drag the folder to the Remove icon located at the top of the screen.

Note: This will not delete the apps permanently.

To Change the Wallpaper

1. Touch and hold an empty space on the Home screen.
2. Tap Wallpapers.
3. Select the wallpaper that you want to use.
4. You can crop the image by moving the blue border.
5. When finished, tap OK.

To Add or Remove a Widget

1. From any home screen, tap Apps.
2. Go to Widgets.
3. Tap and hold the desired widget until it expands.
4. Then drag it to the desired location on the home screen and release it.
5. Some widgets may have additional configuration options. To complete the setup, follow the prompts.

  • To move a widget -> touch and hold it until it expands and drag it to the desired location, including to another home screen.
  • To remove a widget -> touch and hold it until it expands and drag it to the Remove icon located at the top of the screen. When the widget turns red, release it.


To Set the Screen Lock Pattern

1. From any Home screen, tap Apps.
2. Go to Settings.
3. Tap Lock screen and then tap Select screen lock.
4. Tap Pattern.
5. You will see some instructions, read them and tap Next when ready.
6. Tap and drag your finger on the screen to draw the pattern that you want to use.
7. If you want to redraw the pattern, tap Retry. If you’re satisfied with the pattern, tap Continue.
8. Now you need to draw the same pattern once more.
9. Read the Choose backup PIN alert and tap Next.
10. Enter a PIN and then tap Continue.
11. Reenter the PIN and tap OK.
12. The screen lock pattern has been set. You can tap to check or uncheck the pattern options to suit your needs.

To Apply a Ringtone to a Contact

1. From any Home screen, tap Apps.
2. Go to Contacts.
3. Select the desired contact.
4. Touch Edit contact.
5. Scroll to the Ringtone field.
6. Select the ringtone that you want to use and tap OK when finished.
