Backing Up Applications:

  1. While viewing the home screen, tap "Apps"
  2. Open "LG Backup"
  3. Assuming that this is the first time opening the app, review the information and tap "LG Backup"
  4. Tap "Agree" at the "End User License Agreement" screen
  5. Tap "Manual backup" and select a desired backup location
  6. Tap "Next" and choose to create a "New Backup" or to "Overwrite" an existing backup file
  7. Give the backup file a name and tap "Next"
  8. Mark the "Downloaded apps" and "LG Apps" check boxes
  9. Tap "Backup" > "OK"

Backing Up Contacts:

  1. Open the apps drawer and launch the "LG Backup" app
  2. Review the introduction if this is the first time using the app
  3. Tap "Agree" at the "EULA" pop-up
  4. Select "Manual backup", choose a backup location and tap "next"
  5. Press "New Backup" or select to replace an existing file ("Overwrite")
  6. Enter a name for the backup file and tap "Next"
  7. Mark the "Personal data" check box and tap "Backup"
  8. Press "OK" to confirm

Backing Up Media Files:

  1. Use the USB cable to connect the LG Optimus L70 to your computer
  2. Once connected, tap "Media Sync (MTP)" when prompted
  3. From the AutoPlay window on your computer, click "Open device to view files using Windows Explorer"
  4. Locate the desired media files stored on your phone
  5. Copy the files and paste them in the desired backup location on your computer's hard drive
  6. Once the transfer is complete, click the "Safely Remove Hardware" icon located in the system tray
  7. Click "Safely remove mass storage device" > "OK"
  8. It's now safe to disconnect your smartphone
