Restoring Applications:

  1. From the home screen, tap "Apps"
  2. Tap "Settings" and swipe to "Personal"
  3. Tap "Backup & reset" and mark the check box associated with "Automatic restore"

Restoring Contacts:

  1. Open the apps drawer and go to "Settings"
  2. Scroll to "Personal" and tap "Backup & reset"
  3. Tap "LG Backup service"
  4. Tap "File restore & management" and locate the desired backup file
  5. Select the file and tap "Next" > "Start"
  6. When the "Restored" message appears, tap "Done"
  7. Your smartphone will now reboot in order to complete the restore

Restoring Data from the SD Card:

  1. From the phone's "Settings" menu, swipe to "Personal"
  2. Tap "Backup & reset" > "LG Backup service"
  3. Tap "File restore & management"
  4. Browse for and select the desired backup on the SD card
  5. Tap "Next" > "Start". Note that the process may take several minutes to complete
  6. Press "Done" when the "Restored" message appears
  7. Your smartphone will reboot to complete the process

Restoring Media Files From Your Smartphones:

  1. Tap "Apps" on the home screen and go to "Settings"
  2. Under "Personal", tap "Backup & reset"
  3. Tap "LG Backup service" > "File restore & management"
  4. Locate and select the desired media backup
  5. Tap "Next" > "Start"
  6. On the "Restored" message, tap "Done" and wait for your smartphone to reboot

Restoring Media Files from a Windows Computer:

  1. Connect the LG Tribute to your computer via USB
  2. When prompted, tap "Media sync (MTP)". If the prompt doesn't appear, select the option from the notification area
  3. In the AutoPlay window on your computer, click to browse the phone's files / folders
  4. Open a second Windows Explorer window and locate the media files backed up on your computer
  5. Copy the files and transfer them on your phone's storage
  6. After the transfer is done, click the "Mass storage device" icon in the system tray and eject your smartphone
  7. Safely disconnect your smartphone from the computer
