Using iTunes:

NOTE: If you have iTunes installed on your computer you can use the app to sync your iPhone contacts with your Google account. Then you can sync the data from the account with the LG Risio.

  1. Open iTunes on the computer
  2. Connect the iPhone to the PC via USB
  3. Once connected, click the iPhone in iTunes to access the summary page
  4. Go to the “Info” tab and enable “Sync Contacts With”
  5. From the drop-down menu, select “Google Contacts”
  6. Register your Google account in iTunes or click “Configure” and select an existing account (if applicable)
  7. Click “Apply” and the syncing process will begin
  8. Once completed, register the Google account on the LG Risio and allow it to sync contacts with your phone

Using iCloud:

NOTE: If you have used the iCloud backup service before, your iPhone contacts should be backed up on your iCloud account. You can access the account on a computer connected to the Internet, and export them for Android use.

  1. Launch the Internet browser on the computer
  2. Visit https://www.icloud.com/ and sign in with your account
  3. Go to “Contacts” and select the contacts to export
  4. Click “Settings” > “Export vCard”
  5. After the vCard is downloaded on the computer, import it to “Google Contacts” or alternatively, skip this step and instead:
  6. Connect the LG Risio to your computer via USB, and transfer the vCard file to its storage. Then, launch “Contacts” and use the “Import” option

Using “My Contacts Backup”:

NOTE: In case you’re looking for a method to transfer contacts without the need of a computer, you can rely on third party apps instead. My Contacts Backup is an iOS app that can be used to back up and transfer contacts via email.

  1. Go to the App Store and install “My Contacts Backup” on the iPhone
  2. Launch the application and tap “Backup”
  3. After the backup file is created, tap “Email”
  4. Compose a new email and make sure the vCard file is attached to it
  5. Send the email to your own address
  6. Switch to the LG Risio, open the email, and use the “Contacts” app to import the vCard file to your phonebook

Using “Send Anywhere”:

NOTE: Send Anywhere is a third party app for Android and iOS, that uses a P2P connection to transfer contacts cross-platform without needing a computer.

  1. Visit the App Store and install “Send Anywhere” on your iPhone
  2. Go to the Play Store and install the app on the LG Risio
  3. Launch the application on both smartphones
  4. On the iPhone, tap “Send” > “Contacts” and select the desired contacts
  5. Tap “Send”, and choose a transfer method. Tapping “Generate QR Code” on the iPhone allows you to scan the resulting code with the LG Risio’s camera to begin the transfer. You can also tap “Receive” on the LG device and enter the transfer code from the iPhone manually
