Sync iPhone Contacts via iTunes:

NOTE: Using iTunes on a computer connected to the Internet, you can sync your iPhone contacts with your Google account, and then sync the account data, including contacts, with your Android phone.

  1. Open iTunes on the computer
  2. Connect the iPhone to your computer using the Lightning cable
  3. Click the iPhone in iTunes and access the “Info” section
  4. Turn on “Sync Contacts With”
  5. Select “Google Contacts” from the drop-down menu
  6. Sign in with your Google account, or click “Configure” and select an existing account
  7. Click “Apply” to begin the sync
  8. After the sync is complete, switch to the LG X Style, sign in with the same Google account, and allow the account to sync contacts with your Android device

Share iPhone Contacts from iCloud Backup:

NOTE: If your iPhone contacts have been previously backed up on your iCloud account, you can access the account on a computer connected to the Internet, and export the contacts in vCard format for Android use.

  1. Open the Internet browser on the computer
  2. Visit https://www.icloud.com/ and sign in with your iCloud account
  3. Access “Contacts” and select the contacts you want to share
  4. Click “Settings” > “Export vCard”
  5. Wait for the vCard to be downloaded on the computer and then perform one of the steps below:
    • Import the vCard to “Google Contacts”, or:
    • Connect the LG X Style to your computer via USB, transfer the vCard to the phone storage, and use “Contacts” to import it to your phonebook

Using “My Contacts Backup”:

NOTE: Although the two methods above require access to a computer, alternatively you can transfer your contacts using third party applications. My Contacts Backup is an app for iOS which can back up and transfer iPhone contacts via email.

  1. Visit the App Store and install “My Contacts Backup” on the iPhone
  2. Launch the app and tap “Backup”
  3. Once the backup file is done, tap “Email”
  4. Make sure the email contains the vCard backup file as an attachment
  5. Send the email and attachment to your own address
  6. Switch to the LG device, open the email and download the attached vCard
  7. Import the vCard to your phonebook using “Contacts”

Via” Send Anywhere”:

NOTE: Send Anywhere is another third party app you can use for transferring iPhone contacts. The app is available on iOS and Android, and uses a peer-to-peer connection to transfer contacts and other file types without requiring a computer.

  1. Go to the App Store and install “Send Anywhere” on the iPhone
  2. Visit the Google Play Store and install the same app on the LG device
  3. Launch the app on both smartphones
  4. On the iPhone, tap “Send” > “Contacts”
  5. Select the desired contacts
  6. Tap “Send” again and select a transfer method; ex: you can tap “Generate QR Code” on the iPhone and scan the code with the LG phone’s camera, or tap “Receive” on the LG X Style and enter the transfer code generated on the iPhone
