How-To: Create a "Smart Action" on your Motorola Droid 4.
- Tap the "Apps" icon on your Home screen.
- Browse through your apps and tap the "Smart Action" icon.
- Tap the "Add rule" icon found at the top-right corner of the screen. It's depicted as a "plus" symbol.
- Select "Start from scratch" from the pop-up window.
- Tap the "Rule" icon found at the top-left corner of the screen.
- Browse through the icons and tap on the desired one.
- Enter a name for the rule by tapping the "New Rule" field.
- Press the "Add Triggers" button and select the desired trigger.
- Tap the "Add Actions" button and select the preferred action.
- Once you're done, tap the "Add rule" button.
How-To: Edit, Remove or Disable Rules.
- Access the "Smart Actions" application.
- Tap on the rule you wish to remove or temporarily disable.
- Tap and hold on the desired trigger or action.
- A pop-up window should appear. Tap the Edit, Disable or Delete option.
If you wish to temporarily disable all the rules:
- Access the "Smart Actions" application.
- Tap the "Menu" sensitive key on your Motorola Droid 4.
- Press the "Disable all" icon.
